What our customers say about College Green Coffee Scrub soap:

  • "I have tried your soap with coffee and weird as it sounds, it really is good!"
  • "Smells gorgeous."

College Green Coffee Scrub soap contains only natural ingredients:

  • Peppermint essential oil: feels both cooling, refreshing, then gently warming on the skin. Its stimulating properties make it an effective remedy for muscular aches and pains. Its toning properties make it particularly soothing for itchy, irritated skin and insect bites. The crisp scent of Peppermint essential oil is used to relieve tension headaches and nausea, improve focus and reduce stress.
  • Rosemary essential oil: invigorating, toning and cleansing, rosemary has a warming anti-inflammatory action that helps boost circulation, soothing sore muscles and bringing relief to sprains and strains. Rosemary essential oil has long been thought to aid mental alertness and improve memory, with students in ancient Greece wearing rosemary garlands during exams to enhance their memories, and Shakespeare’s Ophelia claiming “there’s rosemary, that’s for remembrance; pray, love, remember,” in Hamlet.
  • French green clay: mineral rich, and renowned for its deep cleansing properties, lifting impurities from the skin, exfoliating dead skin cells and toning the skin.
  • Coffee: high in antioxidants, exfoliating coffee will buff away dry, flaky skin, boosting circulation and helping to provide silky smooth skin in preparation for shaving or applying fake tan. It removes stubborn dirt and grease, making it the perfect soap for anyone who works with their hands, gardeners and cooks.
  • Coconut oil: moisturising and nourishing, coconut oil helps to heal irritated skin and has antifungal, antimicrobial, antioxidant and antibacterial properties.
  • Shea butter: rich in fatty acids, antioxidant carotenoids and vitamin E, shea butter helps to improve the condition of dry and mature skin. It’s skin-enriching properties sooth eczema, skin allergies and psoriasis.
  • Olive oil: high in skin-nourishing fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamin E, olive oil keeps skin soft and moisturised.
  • Sweet almond oil: rich in vitamins D and E, fatty acids and zinc, nourishing sweet almond oil soothes dry, irritated skin and prevents moisture loss.
  • Castor oil: packed with omega-6, omega-9 and vitamin E, castor oil has fabulous natural moisturising properties.
  • Beeswax: forms a protective film on the skin to help reduce water loss

How to make your natural soap last for longer

College Green soaps are proudly free from palm oil which is commonly used as a hardener in soaps and rich in natural glycerine, therefore they can be softer than many commercial bars. To ensure your soap lasts as long as possible, make sure it never sits in a puddle of water. Use a soap dish to allow air to flow around the soap, keeping it dry and longer lasting.

I use a traditional cold process method which creates a glycerine-rich soap, then cure each bar for a minimum of four weeks to create a beautifully mild, long lasting bar of soap.

College Green Coffee Scrub soap is free from palm oil, parabens and harsh detergents.
