Apologies to my regular customers for missing my usual fourth-Saturday-of-the-month Stroud Farmers' Market stall in February. It's only the second or third time I've missed a market in six years (I even turn up in sleepy January which many regulars skip) but the chance for a quick trip to the sun during my daughter's last February half term, and before `A' level study hits a frenzied pace, was just too good to miss.
Being away from home I missed TurnipGate, the furore surrounding Thérèse Coffey’s championing of UK ‘specialisms’ - but I'm happy to say I was eating seasonally while in Morocco - just take a look at the amazing prickly pear fruits we found in the souk (and what they did to our tongues!)
